Home-Made Doggy Toothpaste
If your pups are anything like mine, their kisses aren’t always the sweetest! They love to snuggle up close and get in your face, but they always have that nasty dog breath.
I’ve always tried to brush my doggie’s teeth on a regular basis. I usually just buy a doggy toothpaste at my local pet store, but today I found this home-made dog toothpaste recipe that I really liked! The best part about it is that you can make it with ingredients that you probably already have lying around your kitchen.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cube of chicken or beef bullion
3 Tbsp. baking soda
6-7 mint leaves
All you have to do is measure out the ingredients into your blender and blend until the mint leaves are thoroughly chopped and everything is mixed nicely.
Put your toothpaste into an air tight container and store in your fridge. When you are ready to use, just take your puppy’s toothbrush and apply about a pea sized dollop of the toothpaste. It’s ok if your pup swallows this stuff, it won’t hurt them. Just make sure they don’t swallow any more than what is on the brush.

Showing off those pearly whites
If you do this on a daily basis your best friends breath should be smelling sweet in no time!
